Medior Back-end Developer

We do this by building solutions for the entire food supply chain. We empower buyers and producers of agricultural products by offering insight into the sustainability and food safety aspects of their products, and by enabling super simple compliance with market requirements.

About the position

What you will be doing
In this role you will play an important role in the backend and infrastructure of our application, extending our platform with complicated features like “network” functionality and more. You will help us build a robust infrastructure in AWS to support hosting the Django backend.

Technologies you'll be using

• Python3.10
• Django + Django Rest Framework
• PostgreSQL
• Docker
• CircleCI
• AWS (CDK, ECS, RDS, S3).

Using these technologies, you’ll be tackling problems like making it possible for our clients to create, modify and work with their complex supply chains which are getting more and more complex as regulations are becoming stricter. Or the next step where we want our clients to work together as a network and can share all of this information between each other.

What you bring to the table

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Backend Development;
• Good knowledge of Python;
• An understanding of relational databases, SQL, and database design principles;
• Desire to get hands-on experience with all aspects of backend web development;
• Experience with Python testing frameworks e.g. Pytest, Unittest;
• Enjoy sparring with other parts of the business to jointly create the best possible product.
